THE DETERMINED is the story of an extraordinary fire investigator, Bobby LaBelle, who is known for her ability to solve any case – that is until her daughter is killed in a targeted hit-and-run. Find the truck, solve the case, becomes her mantra, a failed obsession that quickly destroys her marriage and threatens to end her promising career.

 

After eight months, Bobby begrudgingly returns to her hometown for what was supposed to be a straightforward arson investigation, only to uncover something perplexing: a truck – the truck – responsible for the hit-and-run was at her fire scene. Bobby must face her troubled past to find the connection between the fire, the truck, and her daughter’s tragic death while battling the biggest obstacle of all: nobody believes her.
